question about email..

I currently bought a Droid and am using k-9 mail as my email being that i do not use a g mail account. Anyways, I can receive emails fine but cannot figure out how to get them to send. Anyone know??

Had the same problem, and couldn't figure it out. Deleted it and downloaded the Yahoo Mail app from the market. Works perfect.

I use K9 for my Gmail and it works well. What email service are you using?

We'll need details to assist. What type of email account? What did you specify as your outbound mail server? If you use SMTP for outbound mail does your email provider require authentication? Does your email provider even offer SMTP access if you're not on their network (assuming they're also an ISP)?

These questions might not even be relevant to you but more details will help.
