hey it seems faster, but wonder if there is any diff. I going through it now.
 
i'm still syncing - i need to walk outside to grab a 3g signal as it's stuck on 1x right now... normally i have no problem grabbing a 3g signal in here, but it's been awhile since i've flashed something so new in my office
 
Don't think I've ever used anything with a version tag of 01.
I'll wait until 50-something

seems a bit snappier, but i'm going to chalk that up to placebo effect, plus clean install, at this point...
 
If you are running a 2.2 based rom (ie sapphire) you do not have to wipe data and cache, you can install it right over it. Now I know I now need to restore my backup of sapphire.
 
I installed it with P3Droids 125-1.25Ghz LV kernel and with no theme, it benchmarks at exactly the same as my Sapphire 0.8.4 with the same kernel and the Redline Theme. I have not explored it otherwise, so it may do some other things better. I'll play with it a while longer.
 
ima let you know how it works with sapphire. Just restored a backup and now I am flashing frg01b over it.
