Before we dive too deep into this It should be noted that while root is not necessary for the Double Tap To Wake Feature to be enabled you will need to be bootloader unlocked with TWRP installed. You will be using the TWRP file manager to modify the system. Double Tap To Wake is present on the Nexus 6 but not enabled. To enable head to the link below to download the moddified power.shamu.so. You will need to boot into TWRP and backup /system/lib/hw/power.shamu.so, then copy the moddified version of the same file. Then just reboot your N6.

Man, I WISH the Turbo was rootable and bootloader unlockable - not for double-tap to wake, but for other "hacks", most namely the WIFI Entitlement hack. :(

This is good news to me. I've gotten so used to double tab to unlock on my LG G3. When my Nexus 6 arrives, this will be done very quickly.

=D I get them from TMobile because I have the legacy JUMP program. No having to pay the device half off at 6 months to upgrade. If I was gonna pay full price I would have definitely asked around here first =)

Yep. The auctions end tomorrow (Sunday) in the really afternoon. I listed three of them (unopened). Since I opened one I didn't put it on an auction, and am still evaluating it but will probably sell it too.

Yes, swappa is a great store but I felt I'd get my best dollar through eBay.

Need to decide Note 4 or Nexus 6. I'm leaning towards the Note 4, partially due to the lack of availability with the Nexus 6.

on the move..

Both great choices.. No root is only thing that kills it for me with Note 4..

Tap'd by Big 6
