I doubt the whole MIUI experience will ever been mixed with sapphire, but I bet you will see at least some of the features making it's way into a few roms around here.

Is the lockscreen music there? (doubt it due to MIUI having it's own lockscreen)

and do the music control rocker buttons work?

i thought about flashing MIUI over sapphire but didn't want to clear everything if those features weren't going to work

They are pretty interesting to say the least the reason it caught my attention because it was pretty unique compared to other roms.

I flashed MUIU over Sapphire 1.1.1 and have never been happier... I dont know how much of it is MIUI ROM compared to what is left of Sapphire, but Im so much happier than I was before with Sapphire.

Loaded 114 gapps 111 and miui 121 works nice!!!

So far no issues.
loaded rom first 114, gapps 111, then miui from metiCkOne 121 version

still have to clear framework contacts storage and all, but after that wow. nice.

Bluetooth np, gps maps and navigation perfect.

the pull down screen is awesome, wifi, back light, rotation, sound and more...
no sound buttons on lockscreen :-( volume rocker works though, but i can live with that. best of both worlds.
maybe I will try some experiments for more :icon_eek:

I do not use facebook so can't tell you anything about that.

reloading new sdk to get rid of the others like amazon and junk.

Nice fall theme installed by default btw.
follow most instructions for your needs and your done.
Will test more and follow up.

Cleared everything as I always do

you flashed over without any reset?

I wipe at least three times every new rom no matter what.

so fresh 114, gapps 111, then miui 121 then boot to setup.
I mount sd and change update.zip to others and install all at once in recovery.
I use spree recovery (old fashion I guess)

fc the bs, go to appmanager to clear frameworks and other bs as devs noted.
reboot. wait for apps and contact to come back. Just be quick about the fc and clear parts. also loaded spare parts to speed it up, I like the perception of fast.

Working Quite well and no killer bugs yet.
duh sorry, sync was turned off in notifications on the drop down , ie not highlighted. Works great now. my fault.

I always reboot in am to start the day. The one fc on rebooting is it.
never pops up again until reboot but once is fine. This is a nice combo!

I didn't have a problem on most favorite roms

I installed on zenulator, chevys 4.8, sapphire 111 and meti's too.

My thing was I knew I was wiping again when I went to 114, so figured why not? I revert back if I don't like it.

Experimenting and I know when the devs have time to do more work I will try other combos. Big cudos to all the devs here. been an xda member since 2006
but I have been assimilated!! This is my home now. I still check that forum but mostly htc that I don't use anymore.

Is MIUI faster than Sapphire? I'm getting sick of my Droid being so slow though I know that's no fault of the Sapphire ROM, just older hardware.

don't know about faster

a bigger screen and a real keyboard I would be just fine.

I dont run paypal, facebook gps and allsorts of apps. they tend to run in the background and slow things down. you can set spare parts to be aggressive to kill some when you open then close. I personally like the idea that so many apps are out there, I am just picky and like to keep it clean for my needs.

If I don't use it I will un install
