Maximizing the max

I personally would..you've had the phone since launch and have never done one..I would go ahead and do it..your device will act way better..I bet your battery life will increase..

Just my advice & 2 cents worth: after the FDR don't let the phone start to backup all the Google settings and apps, turn that Off in the Settings. Also, don't just throw every app you have now right back on the phone instantly....or you may end up right back in the boat you are in today. I always install apps one or two at a time and run the phone for a while. Even after the FDR be prepared for Android OS, Google Services and Kernel to be in the top five battery users, along with Screen. My Razr M and Maxx were that way right after Kit Kat and my Turbo is the same on Lollipop.

Hmmm alright my battery seems to be doing better today I removed some apps that were just hanging out n never used. I turned high accuracy back on and will post another screen shot when I get my low battery warning

Here are the stats today. I must admit tho I wouldn't call this a normal use day as I didn't use my phone much as I normally would on a normal day. Still the life was much more like the maxx I used to know lol

You should be getting better than 15 hours off the charger, especially with less than 2 hours screen on time.

Sounds like I should do a fdr then? This was also with my location set to high accuracy. I use wifimatic to help with my wifi on n off. Not sure if I have it set correctly tho. Would I be better off manually switching it on and off?

I manually turn on/off Bluetooth and WiFi. WiFi will look for a connection every 90 seconds by default. I have to check the build.prop but I think it's 90.

That will drain battery, just like dropping to 3G or 1X.

Sounds like I may need to ditch wifimatic and do it the old fashion way lol

Here's today's stats while being home with some moderate use. Today I disabled a lot of the bloatware that came preinstalled on the maxx and some Verizon bloatwear also. Location is still set to high accuracy
