With the leak of the latest Motorola build(compliments of P3Droid), comes updates to all of the proprietary drivers needed to make Froyo run smooth on the droid. On top of this great update, P3Droid has been hard at work making a built for Sapphire only kernel, that most of you have already had a taste of, except now it comes with options! On top of this you gain a few new features as well(check the changelog)!

With the drop of Froyo, as many of you know there was a major change in the air. The vendor setup was no more and it had to be re-written to fit into the new Android device mold. That was done mere hours after the source was released, and now I(sniffle) have finally got off my butt and updated the basic build instructions on the build wiki. Enjoy, all of you developer hopefuls :-D

The custom ones don't yet. The main set on p3design.info/kernels work.
forgive my ignorance, but what do you mean custom? If I were to DL his 250-1200mhz LV kernel, will it work with all features on this ROM?

yes. :) there are some "custom" ones for sapphire that are not listed on that page but some people have found them anyway >.>. those dont' work. but if you don't know what i'm talking about then don't worry about it. ANY of the 2.2 froyo roms on his page should work with sapphire :)

Well I can't wait till we get the custom kernels. I phone was never as smooth as when it ran that custom Sapphire kernel. At least we got this awesome release to play with now :D

Is CompCache working now?

*edit* Guessing not, since P3Droid's kernels don't say they support it currently
