Innotraveler for angled windshield

I have a Nissan Murano. Like many SUVs and crossovers, the windshield is a long reach to the front. Does that angle make a windshield mount too far to deal with the droid easily? The innotraveler looks like the stem is too short to help.

You might find it easier to access mounted higher up near the drivers side A pillar.

Does the charger cord reach from there to the center console?

No idea. I have mine feeding down in the A pillar and hard wired below the dash.
