What was the driver issue? I would think that if you used those same drivers to flash the other leaks it should work for this too.

Idk. Uninstalled 5.2.0, installed 5.7.0, worked like a charm.

Successfully updated to 212, rooted. Safestrap did not want to boot up initially, but now working ok. Data restored.
@droidian1441: are you downloading build 213 right now? Just kidding.

Used the simplified 211 instructions to install and root 212 late late-night/early this morning. I had to modify the kernel batch file to include a menu option for 212, everything else went exactly as the instructions, although I had a modified droid utility and did not know it... I posted output in that forum.

I'm using an application called Cheesecake, and the app links into the Motorola update servers and the updates come through like a regular software update. I'm doing this on my DROID 3 and I linked my D3 to the D4 update servers, since Cheesecake is not compatible with ICS.
