HTC's Multimedia Dock for Thunderbolt

I just got HTC's Multimedia Dock for Thunderbolt in the mail today, and I'm really aggravated. The HTC Dock description said it automatically pull up the "multimedia menu." Well, I put it on the dock, and no dice.

Anyone else have the dock? Is there some trick to making it work? I can't find anything on the internet about it. Just a bunch of stuff from over the summer about how people were having trouble getting one.

I got mine in the mail yesterday. I put it on the dock and it showed the desktop clock, but only in day mode. I'd love to find a way to put in in night mode...it lights up the room as it is.

Yeah that's all mine does, but I was told it should be doing more? Maybe I'm wrong.
