So what if we already pre-ordered? What does that mean for us?

I just called my best buy and told them I had pre-ordered and wondered if they knew a pickup date yet and he told me the 12th.... now i'm even more confused

It means nothing except that you would have to wait until the 24th instead of the 14th to go pick up your phone.

Yeah, that BB person sounds like their brain in not firing on all cylinders. BB employees know jack. Verizon will tell them when they can start selling the phone, not the other way around.

Mmmm ok, at least we will still get them. I was just a little worried because people were talking about the expiration date on the blue form a few days ago when all this delay stuff first arose.

Can I just call my local Best Buy to preorder? I hadn't heard anything about even being able to preorder so I've just been twiddling my thumbs waiting for the 24th.

I wouldn't worry about that too much. If you paid your $50 and got your name on a list or whatever, you should still have your place in line. I imagine they put that date on there before they knew there would be a delay. Obviously, a pre-order will expire when the phone officially is released. If you can get it then, there is nothing to PRE-order.

Another thought - the uninformed iSheep who buy today are going to be very disappointed when they find out that their precious is not 4G/LTE capable (despite being called the iPhone "4"), they can only return it for 14 days (not 30), and they will not be able to upgrade at all after 10-12 months anymore (will have to wait 20-24 months).
Haha. Android for life! dancedroid
