No, I see what you're saying. There is no reason to go after the 4 at this point. I'm just saying there are several better 4g phones coming out in the next couple of months that also make it look like a foolish buy. Sheeple gonna sheep though.

I said this before, maybe you didn't read it. You do not know that Verizon will get the iPhone 5 in June when it goes to AT&T. This is unknown at the moment, no source has confirmed this officially. It is equally possible that Verizon will not get the iPhone 5 until next year. This could be because of a contract with Apple, or because Verizon does not want to release it that close to the iPhone 4 it released a few months prior. The releases could be staggered, that way Apple can have 2 big parts of the year instead of one huge part. Also, they have different radios in them because they are on different networks, so they will require separate testing.

Yeah I look forward to that, BestBuy, EVEN TODAY is still saying the 14th, and some BestBuys have the phone in their "back area" already. Why are you guys saying the 24th? That's probably for Verizon stores, if BestBuy says the 14th, it's the ****ing 14th, they don't make **** up.

Well some BestBuys say this, so I really don't know, but they wouldn't make up a date.... It almost sounds like you want the phone to come out two weeks from now instead of Monday?

And I followed a link regarding a possible April release, that is almost certainly for that unnamed HTC phone, the so-called Droid Incredible 2. People have the ThunderBolt RIGHT NOW, go to youtube, there are unboxings, FCC has to approve before people can get their hands on it like that, they clearly approved the phone awhile ago. Come on, do you really think the TB is delayed until April? Don't believe everything you hear, now the same can be applied to this post, but maybe we should just wait until Monday?

I wasn't stating an April release as probable. I linked to a post from Engadget about the ThunderBolt that clearly stated "...could this mean an April Fools' launch for Verizon's first 4G LTE smartphone?"

The ThunderBolt is Verizon's first 4G LTE smartphone, and the fact that Engadget posted something like that was at least worthy to throw in the fire.

I would be more than happy to see a 14th of February release, but like I posted earlier: having the first 4G LTE smartphone from Verizon drop less than a week after an official announcement FROM Verizon would be extremely surprising and horrible marketing on Verizon's part.

Not everyone is following this phone night and day like us.

I did the same thing, and they said Monday is still on and I can go get it first thing Monday morning. I asked about it being delayed and was told its not delayed with them. So yeah I guess we will see monday morning.

Seriously? You're being screwed??? If your idea of "being screwed" is having to wait 2 weeks for a new cell phone, man do you have a very long lifetime of "being screwed" ahead of you.

Relax, yeah some of us are "sweating the small stuff" more than we should, but now you seem to be getting way more bent out of shape than you should about some of us being upset. Relax. Being screwed=being left in the dark because Verizon is totally catering to whatever Apple wants right now. It'll all work out but right now it's frustrating.

Not at all bent out of shape. I've been waiting for an upgrade since November, but the fact the TB may be pushed back a couple weeks isn't a big deal IMO, even though I have an upgrade due me.

Its a "big deal" to me because I've never had a new phone before and this one will allow me to communicate easier with people I don't get to see anymore.
