Home Screen "Replacements."

Do those home screen replacement apps use up a lot of resources to run? I like the idea, but if they use up a lot of resources it's not worth it to me.

I don't think it takes much to run them, but what keeps me turned off is the constant Force Closes and the bugs that they seem to be riddled with.

Sad to say but very true.......i am waiting for the 2.1 release. You will get your additional screen then and they will be "OEM" so to speak

I've tried lots of them. Sweeter Home, Home++, GDE, OpenHome, and likely a few others. I even tried to the 2.1 as ported to 2.0.1 but I've removed them all and figured ways to get the look I am looking for on my screen due to stability issues. I'm content to wait. :)

I was using home++ for awhile then all the rumors of 2.1 came out, so i uninstalled it and decided to wait. It lags a little bit too much for me. So now that the rumored dates have passed I decided to run launcher+ at this point I just want the extra screens.
