HELP - sound problem

So for some reason I woke up and my sound was weird. I don't know if I accidentally pushed a button or if someone else did or what.

It used to be super loud when I turned it up to play music, but now it's like I can barely hear it and it's all the way up.

When I used my volume button, it used to be set only for the video or music volume but now it's on call volume for some reason and I hardly call people as it is.

This is so fustrating and I don't want to have to go to Verizon.

Its a Droid Maxx 2.

what player? is the music in videos low too? try restarting the phone and see if it helps. also try clearing cache partition.

Welcome to the Forum. When you tap a volume button do you see a volume menu in the notification area? And then tap that drop down arrow and are there then options for the different volumes?

That's a great phone, by the way. I loved my Droid Maxx, that thing was a beast. It's one of my all-time favorite Android phones / Droid models.
