Can someone please give me a guide on how to root my Motorola droid 1 2.2 FRG22D. I'm not that great when it comes to technology so that long forum with the root for all OTS confuses me. Can anyone recommend something easier? Is there a youtube video that i can follow?

Hmm. Z4root in the market. New root app. Followed by rom manager and flashing clockwork mod recovery.
You really need to read about what you are doing. I would much rather you follow the first link in my signature. If you are technologically challenged rooting may not be good for you until You understand what it is what You are doing.
