Just got the backordered notice. I ordered yesterday. Oh well. I'm used to waiting for things when it comes to Verizon and the hot phones.

Starting to think somethings up with my Droid or an app or something or maybe im being anal. Been running the extended battery since Tuesday. Today I pulled it off the charger at 8am. It's now almost 4 and im at 30%. Battery use is 68% Display, 19% voice calls, 3% Glympse and 2% Phone idle. Ive done GTalk messaging and mild surfing but nothing that heavy.

Should I be worried?

I'm right there with you...I ordered the extended battery because the regular one could barely get me through the work day with moderate usage (approx 30 min voice, 30 min web surfing, some music, light texting). This was my second full day with the extended battery, and it made it through the work day for me...barely. It's been just over 12 hours and I have 20% remaining.

Just to be clear that's with Wifi, BT, and GPS de-selected on the Power Control Widget and minimum brightness.

I really like the idea of a solar powered one its a shame they couldnt integrate it into the back of the phone.I live on an island and am outside most of the day so this would be perfect.

Yea im getting around 14 hrs per charge on the ext battery on moderate use....i was hoping for more juice too

Some people are claiming upto 40hrs of use on one charge...i cry BS because there's no way unless the phone is like off half the time

Got mine today...it's been sitting at 100% for the last 3 hours with moderate to heavy usage. My case fits the new battery and cover fine.

This is BS... ur telling us that you used your phone moderately for 3 hrs and your battery had not come down at all from 100%??? C'mon pls...

I charged the 1840 24 hours ago and it is at 40%. I will admit, I didn't use it alot during the day, but I know for a fact that it is a lot better than the stock one I had.

This is the droid 2 new extended on my droid 1.

I picked up the extended bat today. Took it off the charger six hours ago and it is at fifty percent. I have fussed with the phone a lot so maybe that is not to bad. I turned gps off a little bit ago so maybe that will help to. Time will tell if not then I will return it. My original cover and cases went back on my phone with no problem.

Well I was suppose to get mine yesterday but when I got home I had a note on my door from Fedex. Apparently I have to sign for it. They will try to redeliver on Monday but chances are I won't be there to receive it and will have to go to the Fedex sorting place on the other side of town.......:icon_evil:

The note left at my door had saturday delivery from 9-3 circled. Hopefully today. This new battery and 2.2 will be like a new phone.

Same here. I don't remember the last time I had to sign for a package... Just sign the slip and leave it on the door for them.

Same here. no Wifi, no GPS. First day after a full overnight charge of the new extended battery, I ran Pandora all day at work, multiple texts, couple of calls, some emailing and internet searching. Oh, and some picture taking at the office. Was at 20% after 14 hours.
The next day, after a full charge, no music used, no camera, sent/received about 15 texts, no calls....20% after 12 hours. I thought these batteries got BETTER after each charge for the first few times, not worse.

I've been running the extended battery on my Droid X since Fed X delivered it yesterday. 1 day 4 hours later, I am at 40%. Phenomenal! A few calls, lots of texting, GPS (45min trip),wifi at home(from 5:00pm till went to bed 2:00am) some gaming, and alot of fooling around with apps. I'm trying to run this thing down! I never believed people with the... "I get a day and a half on my standard battery!", but I'm experiencing it first hand with the extended battery!

Just leave Fed Ex a note authorizing them to leave package at door. I was told to leave tracking # if you have it and to sigh the note. Received package, no problems
