Knock an Incredible off a desk on to a hard floor and how well does that plastic hold up against a metal Droid?

If you have insurance of course, this question is not pertinent.

No, I think a response like this is probably the dumbest post I've read all day. I asked a serious question on durability. What was so dumb about that?

As far as durability i would think the INC would probably be better. If you drop the Droid in the wrong way you risk breaking the slide mechanism, more moving parts = more things to break. The Inc. Is one solid piece, seems that would be more durable.

^Makes sense. Plus like stated before, the harder something is, the faster it falls and harder it hits when it lands. I wouldnt worry about the casing with either. The screen? Thats another story....

My wife actually knocked my Dinc on the floor yesterday while it was charging, from about 3 feet. Inspected it and everything looked fine.

This is exactly how it happened. :icon_eek:-->:mad:-->:)-->:icon_ banana:
