droid x root help

Hello I have a droid x that I have rooted b4 when it was 2.1 using adb and for some reason my droid x has done a system upgrade and is now 2.2 and not rooted. Is there anyway to root it again?

Ok I used DROID2 Rooting Method Works for DROIDX Running Froyo - Droid Life: A Droid Community Blog method to root my phone but now my wireless tethering is having errors and I'm sure I did all the steps correctly.

done

setting ad-hoc mode...
done

setting essid...
done

setting channel...
done

enabling Nat rules...
done

enabling ip forwarding...
done

enabling access control...
failed

tethering now running...
done
