Droid X or Droid Fascinate?

Going to buy a new phone off craigslist, and can't decide between these two.

The + for the X would be the battery, hardware buttons and FM radio. Also Froyo

Fascinate better with everything else.

What's the current thinking? Any good side-by-side reviews? Haven't seen any that do a lot more than just pictures.

No such thing as the Droid Fascinate, but Droid x would be my choice

I had to decide this too. I decided on the droid x because the screen was huge and I like its overall look I don't choose the samsung facinate because my last phone was a samsung and it gave me a world of trouble. Im really happy with my choce hope I helped

i agree but its not a bad thing to get either one of the 2 in question, new and better things will always come out

I think the fascinate is a better phone in terms of raw power. But I prefer the original look of the droid x than a an iphone with a samsung logo on it.

I had the fascinate for about a week and a half, exchanged it for the Droid X and I couldnt be any happier, Im a big fan of the original droid and I feel like the switch from Droid 1 to Droid X is more pleasing, but the fascinate with the super amoled screen is a beauty on its own, maybe it was too pretty for me, as weird as that may sound, also as far as poketting, these two phones are about the same even tho the screen on the X is bigger

The fascinate has some bugs, most of them if not all are software related, but one of them is a bug that undereports the signal strength in dBms. I need a phone with good reception and call quality, and I got nervous not knowing if Samsung would release updates and fixes for the problems present in the device.

In hindsight, I probably returned the Fascinate too early, but I'm happy with the X.

If you are a guy, get the Droid X. If you are a girl, get the Fascinate. Girls usually don’t do all that much with their phones. A guy needs a solid device with a big screen!

Example : Back in the day of the Droid 1 there was also the Eris. The girls usually got the Eris for its looks.

I also don’t like the fact they left off google navigation and search from the Fascination.

I was tired of waiting for the Droid X, so went into to get the Fascinate instead. I was hesitant because about 1/4 of the reviews (where they had more than 3) were reception issues. But I was tired of waiting, and my daughter who was excited to get my Droid 1 needed a phone.
So I go in, they have no Fascinate's but do have 1 Droid X. Got my Droid X after all dancedroid
