Hi all,
I loaded the latest version of Kies onto my PC.
It detected that I needed to upgrade my firmware on my Samsung phone. I clicked on all the buttons as normal to go through the process.
It started the upgrade process. I walked away.
Upon returning 5 mins later it said it had a problem detecting my phone. The 'connected device' in Kies was now empty (previously my I9300T was shown).
The screen on the Samsung now shows a Green Droid with the message below it "Downloading... Do Not Turn Off Target"
Considering this is a firmware upgrade I believe the system is frozen.
I disconnected the USB lead, restarted Kies and replugged the USB.
It still didn't detect it.
I have a choice of:
(a) Attempting to touch the power button and see what my options are if it activates,
(b) If power button doesn't work, pull out the battery, wait 30secs and then re-insert it,
(c) anything else you guys can think of.....
Many Thanks
Steve
p.s. just pressed the power button and NOTHING happens...... :-(
