d3 charge notification light?

ok so im wondering if the droid 3 haves a charging notification light like the previous droids. the reason i ask is because i havent noticed one but today i looked and saw what i think is a light. but its right in between the charge port and the hdmi port. so it might be for the hdmi.

can anyone verify this please.

It is a light... if you let your battery die out all the way till the phone shuts down... you'll see it blink when you plug in the usb cable... nothing during HDMI... still tryin to figure out what it's purpose is

Really? I haven't noticed a light at all on mine. Kinda sucks, I am sometimes away from my phone but it's in seeing distance, and that reassured me it was charging. My D1 had problems with it coming uncharged once in a while. But, D3 so far hasn't failed at all so, it's all good.
