notification light

Has anyone else notification light been blinking for no reason? mine will just start blinking. So I unlock it and I have nothing new on twitter, mail, messages, anything and it want go off. Even if I pull the battery it just keeps blinking then about 30min later it just stops then it wont do it for a few more days then it will start again idk whats going on !!!! :icon_evil:

Yeah i've had that, i would get an email and hit the clear button but the light would still be blinking. I had to go to the gmail app and actually read or delete the email to get it to stop.

even then it will sometimes still blink- so I turned notification off within the gmail app for all my email accounts. Still blinked. So i finally started using a program called light flow, turned notification on for gmail but the light off, and now no light! However, my battery life seems to have taken a big hit, so light flow may not be the total solution. It allows you to chose any color light/vibration/notification combo for almost any even for the phone. It's nice, but it may or may not be responsible for my sudden battery drain.

Yeah i use Light flow as well, works great. It had a few problems when the Gmail app updated but LightFlow quickly followed with an update of their own to fix the problem.

are you noticing any significant battery drain with it (flow flow I mean)? My problems could be related to some other app.

I have no significant battery drain from light flow that i'm aware of.
