Best buy stopping pre-orders?

Thought this was interesting seeing as Only Best buy was doing the pre-orders. I tried pre-ordering through them yesterday, and I was told only the verizon stoers would be honoring the early upgrade deal that was announced for customers with an upgrade date in 2010. Hope they have enough for release day cuz I'm really wanting this phone.
