Ah man.... 20 more pages of posts since I last checked this thread.
Purchased and installed about an hour ago. Total time to download and install was about 8 minutes. No issues, flawless install.
A couple issues post install though. I selected Home instead of Launcher is there a way to change the default? I notice a bit of lag and overall doesn't really seem faster. The device itself is more warm, not hot, but noticeably higher temp. When I scroll through web pages the screen pixelates a bit. The standard wireless mode doesn't keep a connection.
Which bashrc do we choose linux/osx or Windows? I am so confused.
if you just downloaded the app its probably gonna be warm that was a lot of info that it processed in a short time. My phone was warm last night after i installed it and i had a body glove on it.Ah man.... 20 more pages of posts since I last checked this thread.

A reboot *should* fix the lag. As far as the device being warm, i dunno, unles you have bought the $.99 app to overclock then your device is still running at the same temp. Even with the overclock, you can only max out at 600mhz (for now) that would not casue and excess heat... at least it shouldn't.

it may be something minor, before you uninstall pm camel he may can help you beause it maybe something minor. It couldnt hurt to uninstall unroot and start from scratch. My Youtube playback is getting worse and worse, it's pretty much crashing my phone regardless of high or low quality now.
Sigh, hopefully this'll get addressed however might have to switch back to stock OS.
I think he was under the assumption that the rom came with an automatic overclock, similar to BB.
I think I said that it did earlier in the thread, my bad it does not, I confused it with BB.
Doesn't this work to OC for now without 2.0?I think I said that it did earlier in the thread, my bad it does not, I confused it with BB.
If you installed the 1.2 version of the ROM, download the file called boot-rev68_800_1000mhz.img from this thread:walk a noob to overclock this thing now to 800 mhz. I hear its stable there
AllDroid - View topic - Sholes 800mhz/1ghz
Get it onto your phone and then flash it with these commands:
sysrw
flash_image boot boot-rev68_800_1000mhz.img
Then create the file detailed on the link as well ... S99_set_cpu.sh. I am using a scaling_max_freq of 1000000.
Once you have the S99 file in place, reboot and do:
cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_max_freq
You can also use the paid setCPU ... make sure you do not Select Driod ... but go to the bottom of the page and select "Auto Detect" if using setCPU.
I think I said that it did earlier in the thread, my bad it does not, I confused it with BB.
search "Set CPU" in the market, it's a $.99 app that lets you OC to 600mhz.
There should be an update soon allowing you to OC to 1Ghz if i understand correctly.
