1) set cpu and 2.0 will have more options
2) 5 screens as long as u are in launcher, and the negatives are minor issues that are either user error or require a reset. I hhave not had the time to solve the wifi issue completely yet
3) when it ask you to wipe or sav, click save and your apps will be fine
4) for the most part yeah but its worth it
5) im saving that for camel
1) This was meant more for people who had 2.0 before this or Sholes who know for sure.
2) What does this mean as long as I'm in launcher? I'm talking about the differences between 2.0.1 and 2.1 since we can specify which home option (launcher?) we want to install as part of the root process.
3) I realize saving will save my apps as they are but meant more for when these individual apps come out with updates. Will they individually update just as they do now? Launching the market and updating them? I assume yes but read something someone said about one of the other root methods that didn't allow for updates w/o jumping through some hoops.
4) Figured as much. I have lots of shortcuts and images that are a little more difficult to find and crop and what not than just apps/icons.
5) If it's anything like the last big OTA Verizon update it will be made available prior to OTA and those who are brave enough can install it themselves. I did w/v2.0.1 and had it a few days prior to OTA and it was a breeze. If this is the case then those who do this option could potentially have the 2.1 update via OTA prior to those waiting for the Verizon OTA update.
