6-14 [ROM] Froyo Kangerade V1.0 *Blazing fast, 7 Theme options, many extras*

Okay, I got everything back to how I want it looking.. and this *should* be the last dumb question I have.

I want a live wallpaper, there's nothing more I need to do than run the script in Terminal Emulator is there?

Depending on what exactly you want, you could just select it like any other wallpaper or live wallpaper without using the terminal at all.

If you have downloaded and installed the goodies file, I'm not sure you need to run the terminal either. Canvs2321 actually built a GUI for working with the goodies, you can get it here:

kscripts.apk

Download the .apk to your SD, and use Astro to run. Of course, you will need to have the "goodies" already installed.

Awesome, man! Thanks!

Alright, I've got a question about the car dock. On the right screen in the car dock it seems like there are three(? I'm not looking at it right now so that might be off) extra empty buttons. Is there a way to add custom shortcuts in there? Thankss

agree with @zerosouls It's all about the kernel that you're using. For me, LV kernels don't work, and anything above 1GHz isn't solid. 1GHz, is amazingly solid, on my Droid. Droids differ, so you'll need to experiment. Start at a low MHz #, and then go up, while clicking the Stress Test button in SetCPU.

I absolutely love this ROM. Super fast with P3 LV 1.0. And strawberry theme. No problems so far. The pink lemonade theme, had me sitting in front of pc rooting my wifes droid with her impatiently asking if I was done yet. I have the P3 LV 800mhz kernel on hers. Both are rock solid and great on battery use. Thanks for the great work!!

Likewise with me. Using the LV 800mhz kernel and my Droid is rock solid with great battery life. I like the Green and Nexus themes. Yes, he has accomplished great work. Not one problem or issue!

ok, I have been working slowly on an update. Should be available perhaps umm.... late tonight or late monday. It would be helpful to list some features that I can add

but...

remember, source isn't available so many nice features aren't either.

Please also list some fixes you would like to see or changes.

but..

Please list bugs or fixes that are universal and not individual weird bugs. Thanks

I've had 3G not kick in after a reboot and the 50% signal loss. I'd wait a little while but ended up having to reboot. It's not a big deal since it's rare but since you asked.

And I have a question - do you have any other colors planned for future releases? Will you ever be doing a complete pink-life type theme where everything imaginable is themed in other colors?

Dude-don't you sleep? :D

As far as bugs, I'm afraid I've got nothing; everything has been rock solid for me. I've had some strange behavior in Sweeter Home, but those are their issues, not yours. I know quite a few folks have been having an issue with the playlist feature in the music player, but I have no music on mine, so I haven't tested that.

As far as additional features, the script GUI would be a really nice addition if that could happen, and updating the Flask .apk to the latest version would be a good idea.

If you need testers, hit me up.

And thanks again for all of your efforts and hard work!

Hey jrummy,
My music app has seemed to be deleted one day when i was playing music. I tried to switch to the other music app via terminal but it was unsuccessful and said that the file was missing. Then I tried to install it using root explorer but the install failed.

Any Ideas?

Kangerade and Terminal.

I've used pretty much all of the available ROMs based on the leaks and Kangerade seems like the best so far, for my uses. There is one difficulty I have been having and I can't seem to track down the reasons.

I'm using Kangerade/Nextheme, Chevy LV 1.0gHz kernel. Everything seems to be working fine except when I'm in Terminal Emulator Pro. I tried reflashing Kangerade twice doing compete cache/data wipes and can duplicate this error.

What happens is the cursor is displayed two or three spaces from the actual typed text and continues to space out further. When I ssh to another box and attach to my screen sessions I get strange formatting, spacing is off, in vt100 and ansi.

Any suggestions?

I am really having battery problems with this. I don't know what is the culprit but I took it off the charger yesterday and I was getting 15% connect to charger at about 6pm last night. This morning I took it off charge at 7am and it is sitting at 40% and I haven't used for 10 minutes, if that.
Plus yesterday while trying to use the phone the screen kind of locked up trying to call a number from my call log and from my contacts.
I am thinking about swapping back to a 2.1 rom.
