5.5.893 (then) vs 5.5.893 (now) Same thing, right?

yes. the next update verizon releases should be 5.7.893 and then you can apply that and be back on the path. you're good to go if you already applied the leaked 5.5.893.

FYI; the official OTA WILL NOT WORK IF YOU DOWNLOADED A LEAKED OTA BEFORE.

I downloaded the leaked .893 before rolling back. I just got notified of the OTA on my phone, but it failed to download. So if anyone knows of a workaround, I'd appreciate it.

Which lead did you apply? 5.7.893? if so, that makes perfect sense, it is checking for the stock kernel/radio. if you applied the 5.5.893 leak, then there was no point in reverting and trying to apply the OTA one cause they are teh same

No, I downloaded the leaked 5.5.893. Kept it for a couple days but decided to go back. Just tried to download the official 5.5.893 and it keeps failing.

well just go to stock recovery and reapply the leak. they should be the same other than maybe some verification checks.

not sure, its def somewhere if you google it. I applied 5.7.893, and was able to reapply it after i reverted to stock by just going to stock recovery. i assume same would work for 5.5.893
