2.1 update check in

Wife got the update last night... everything looks good except I thought the gallery was supposed to have picasa sync? I don't see the picasa option in accounts sync.

Corona, Ca. Wifeys update on her Eris started as we were getting home late late last night. I was walking a bit sideways with one eye open and shes freaking out asking me whats wrong with her phone. Now its my job to redo all her shortcuts and home screens. Everything working good so far.

Got my update this morning.... I'm in NYC

I'm in Staten Island NYC and I got my update this morning. All seems to be working well, but I'm missing some widgets that I really liked. Maybe I am not doing this right, but I would really like to have the full screen calendar widget back as well as the full screen mail widget, full screen message widget and the full screen favorite contacts widget. What am I missing here? Also just in case anyone would like to know, I had been trying the "checkin" program as well as checking the system update in settings a few times a day and that didn't seem to push it through any quicker... just woke up this morning and there was my notification.


* Ok figured something out... all the widgets that were there in 1.5 finally appeared in 2.1. Guess for some reason it just took a day for them to show up under the HTC widget category.

No wife, but i did install and upgrade my Eris last night. Everything was working fine after wards. Just had a few problems "linking" my contacts with my facebook friends. Other then that, it was smooth from there.

I live in northeast Ohio I got my update a 1:30 am on Friday I love it and for people who got it early you won't get it'll be sent to your phone but my friend that works at Verizon said you won't be able to get the ota but it'll be out there on the net so once I find out where ill let everyone know.

I noticed the update when I woke up this morning around 6:30 EST. I'm in Raleigh NC and I just got it to work properly......i think
