1st 10% of battery goes by really fast (droid x)

My battery life on my droid x has gotten a little better since I got it, however I have recently realized (last 2 charges) that after a full charge, the first 10% of the batter goes down after an hour or less of use (no matter what) then after that, the next 10 takes a longer time even with heavy use. Any ideas to what this might be? Is this a defect in the battery? Maybe im just being paranoid, but it is an obvious occurance.
Any help to ease my mind would be very much appreciated =)

just cause the battery says 90% doesnt mean its at exactly 90% - it can be 99%.

my battery jumps down like that way sooner then yours.. but i have a droid 1. like Abe said, its in 10% increments it could be 99-91%.

Oh..duh, I didn't even think of that.
So if it even goes down 1% the meter will say 90%?

yes if its in increments of 10 and it drops 1 percent, itll show 90

Why does the droid x do it in increments of 10?

This might be off topic, but is there an accurate battery app that tells the percentage exactly?
