Am i the only one that is worried about this? Phone batteries often wear out fast and i don't want to be stuck with a phone where i cant remove the battery
Mike, I understand your concern but I will say this, the trend is definitely toward non-removable batteries and has been going that way gradually for a couple of years now. Also, advancements in battery technology coupled with advancements in more efficient processors and other supporting hardware which therefore use less power, made it able to be a smaller battery that will last the life of the phone and at the same time give you a longer run times and shorter charge times.
Motorola has made 4 generations of devices with non removable batteries.. I've owned one of each.. Never an issue... I still have a g1 maxx, and it's still kicking.. Battery is still holding up.. And i got it on release day..
