what to do when switching from D1 to X

I received the X this afternoon. I am really stoked to start using it but is there anything I need to do/ transfer from phone to phone to make this a painless switching process?

I'd pull the SD card out of the D1 and put it in the X. If you are rooted then you probably have a back up for your apps, if not you might want to try My Backup Pro. If you back up to your SD card and pull it over I would think you should be able to recover your apps once you installed it on your new X.

I'm not positive that will work. If it doesn't your paid apps will still be in the downloads in the market so you'll at least be able to get those back. Contacts are backed up by Gmail so that'snot a problem, they will return once you sign into you your Google account.
