Wife lost her job in early December so our Christmas was small. The kids were bought for over a month before so they were done. I had gotten my wife's gift and with her fight with depression, I decided to keep it and not return it (going to spruce up the back yard with a fire pit, some night lights and what not). She got me some beard oil because its awesome and makes my beard feel so much better.

Sorry to hear about your wife losing her job. My wife is unemployed and has depression too so I know what it's like living with that.

Why have I never heard of beard oil? Interesting...

Oh man. You gotta get some beard oil. I buy mine from a friend's husband. He makes his own. It smells like cedar and my beard is so super soft. I grow it out in the Winter and the oil definitely makes a difference.

Sorry to hear about the wife losing her job. (We were in that same position last year) Hang in there bud, you have each other and that's what's important. Best of luck in the new year! Things will get better!

I didn't either until my wife got me some last year. I prefer unscented but there are some manly scents out there.

I try to always have some on hand, it just makes having a beard that much better.

This is the first year I didn't let mine grow out. I too can grow a full beard in a week but on day 5 of it last winter I looked in the mirror I looked like a Viagra commercial, not cool when ya work in a toy store so since then I shave at least every other day.
As far as hover boards one of my uber liberal co-workers got one and is complaining that Virginia wants to regulate them. I told him "you want a nanny state, you get a nanny state including your hover board. You don't get to pick your poison".

Yeah. It's great for your skin for sure.

That sucks. I only have to shave about 2-3 times a week to remain "clean" most of the time. I always have at least a goatee, but have rocked a beard for quite a while now. The last 2 or 3 years, I've let it get bushy in the Winter and then shaved it completely off out of nowhere as it warms up, only to grow a shorter beard back. Haha
