Wet sticker indicator

So I'm a little confused about the wet indicator thing. I thought that it was supposed to be all white, but I've had my phone about a week an noticed that it is white with red x's. is this normal? I haven't gotten it wet...

That is how it comes, all red means it was wet.

My stickers are red as well and the phone has never been wet. It works fine. All it takes is a little condensation to change the sticker. I think mine turned red when I was shoveling 3 feet of snow from my driveway and had the phone in my coat pocket.

What color should the water indicator sticker be if it has NOT gotten wet? And, does the phone have internal indicators as well. Both of mine are white.

All white or white background with red x's? white background is "dry, all red is "wet" as stated by the second poster

Is there anyway to make this sticker go back to white? Help would be greatly appreciated

White with red x's is normal. People should only worry if the sticker is all red.
