anyone have any other suggestions for this ?

Like this picture I took it in portrait mode , and it fits the entire screen while viewing as you see below . so why can't i just use the picture like it is for my wallpaper ? why does that box come up and take away the majority of the picture and make it look like the other one ?

I downloaded flikie wallpapers off of market. Then when you set pic as wallpaper you just pick ... set as flikie and the pic gets used with no cropping

Click on your pic.. click on square button on bottom of your phone... click on more and then set as.. then it will have a small list choose flikie wallpaper ... it will place pic up without cropping it
