Verizon Leaks MotoMods Prices

It's unusual for a leak to occur from Big Red, but that is just what happened. Verizon accidentally leaked the prices of the Moto Z MotoMods add-ons, and they aren't cheap. Here's the pricing info:

• Insta-Share Projector: $299
• JBL SoundBoost: $79.99
• TUMI Power Pack: $89
• TUMI Wireless Charging Power Pack: $99
• Kate Spade shell : $79

I mean...Those don't seem like horrible prices for those pieces, but definitely a serious investment. Did I miss it, or have we not seen any pricing on the devices themselves yet? That would make all the difference to me whether I'd invest in mods. Also, I know they claim they'll be compatible with further generations of these devices. That's a big thing to consider as well as long as they hold to it.

Don't lose faith yet. This is MSRP, not the actual retail cost. Also as I'm sure you can imagine, there will be specials, bundles as mentioned below.

I agree with Fox. Since these prices are a "leak" and the phone is not even out yet, I can see bundles when the phone is actually for sale. Buy a new phone, get one mod 1/2 off, buy a new phone, get one mod free, etc.

I'm curious how this phone will connect to 3.5mm jacks..you know they have their way but will it be a HD connection or will it be, meh. I'm trying to decide if I want to like it..or if I want to hate it..it's and Interesting concept.. definitely a different showing than anyone on the market...but sometimes a new showing is a new pile of crap...with extra flies...
