Using fios digital voice mail problem for the droid opening .wav fie

Just switched to Fios triple play and using digital voice i am having fios send an email .wav file to me for my voicemails. i am having a problem where my droid cannot play the file that fios is sending in the email.

anyone else have this issue and any work around to it?
