Use a task killer or to not?

That seems like it does what every other task manager does, which is limit apps from going into the memory or kills them so more can get in there? Correct me if I'm wrong.

Also, RAM uses little power, not sure why people are so anal about the amount of processes in RAM. I think it matters more if the background programs are using CPU cycles instead of the amount of RAM.

It makes "the table" a bit smaller, I think. It doesn't appear to affect battery life and my phone never gets bogged down.
