I haven't seen this yet before, so I hope it isn't redundant.
Tonight, my first-gen droid (recently updated to Froyo) ended up emptying my inbox and sending texts intended to send to my friend instead to my father. After a reboot, it seemed to fix the issue.
However, about an hour after the reboot (with no water damage or phone trauma), the phone shut down, and upon trying to boot came to the "Bootloader 2C.7C" screen, despite not being connected to my computer or any other source.
So it appears my droid no longer recognizes its Operating System. It perpetually reboots when on the charger, as well, not resolving anything.
This is my third factory defect phone without any sort of user damage, and it's getting old... I can't even contact anyone using my (only) phone right now, and quite frankly I don't know how to troubleshoot it or obtain a phone that actually works.
Any feedback in any direction would be much appreciated; I feel out of contact with the world, and it's frustratingly enough not my fault for the third time. Thanks for the help
