You either need to nandroid or you'll have to find the stock apk or flashable zip (if there is one).

Everything's fine now. I just uninstalled Messenger and restored using my old backup (before flashing the new MMS app) from Titanium and viola! Original.
However, I found a BETTER looking Messenger theme installed via .apk

[MOD] 4.0.4 Black MMS - RootzWikiBut the .apk didn't work. It "failed to install application," dammit. I really like the way this looks too. I'd really like it to work..

That's the one I use. You need to rename the messenger extension to bak. Then move the new apk into /system/apps then reboot if it doesn't show up immediately. Don't try to install it like a data app or you'll get an error.

Woah, I'm really unsure of how to do that. I have Root Browser and I know I can rename files with that. But I wouldn't know how to do anything else. Still a n00b at this :(

I use root explorer, but I downloaded root browser lite to try and give you a step by step.

1. Scroll to system and click
2. Click app
3. Navigate to mms.apk
4. Long press mms.apk and click rename
5. Change .apk to .bak
6. Navigate to your apk you downloaded
7. Long press on the apk and copy
8. Navigate back to /system/app
9. Click paste
10. Reboot if messenger does not show in app drawer.

No problem. That's what this forum is for. And if you ever want to go back to stock, just delete the themed apk or rename it to .bak and rename the stock mms back to .apk.

Yea, that's what I'm using. I'll post the link to the deodexed ROM that I'm currently on. I recommend getting the kernel too. Will post that link as well when I get to my computer.

I'll check it out but I really don't want to wipe everything just to get a black themed mms lol

Hm, you may not have to wipe everything. But I'm not totally sure. Perhaps the link will elaborate more on it. Like I said, I'll post the links when I get to my computer..
