Ultimate "Droid Does" story

All right, first of all this is an absolutely true story.

I'm sitting in the Service Managers office at a local car dealership today. He has a Droid and every time I go in I always show him a new app or something cool he didn't know his Droid could do.

I told him that I had found the coolest app, "PhoneMyPC". I opened it up to show him, clicked on my Home PC and told him that we were looking at my PC desktop at my house. He was in awe!!

While we were watching, my screen suddenly filled with little thumbnails of naked women. I started freaking out, not knowing what was going on. I then realized I had just busted my 11 year old son looking up porn for the first time.

From across town. ON MY DROID!

As a Dad, I wasn't sure how to feel, but my buddy told me that it's one of things that every Dad goes through at some point and we both had a good laugh.

Needless to say, my son and I had a good talk when I got back home today.

Just needed to share.

Hahahaha. Oh man, good story there. Yea PhoneMyPC is great for many things, I use it as a remote because I watch Hulu on my projector from my laptop... then I dont have to get up. But it is a great tool to 'spy' on what going on when your not there.

Again, good story man, haha.

Hilarious! Mine's not nearly as good, but still good enough to share.

I'm standing in line at the Redbox with about 6 other people watching this clueless couple at the front of the line try to pick out a movie. Literally over 5 minutes trying to choose, which in Redbox time is an eternity. SO...not wanting to be 'that guy' when I got to the front, I opened up my Redboxer app, browsed the new movies selection, found the movie I wanted (The Lovely Bones), found that it was available at this redbox, and reserved it. Cool, right? Here is the really funny part. The couple in front of me tried to rent The Lovely Bones and it was OUT! I had reserved the LAST ONE while standing in line, just minutes before the people in front of me tried to rent it! The guy behind me gave me a high five and asked if that app was available for his iPhone. I told him it probably wasnt.

you can use it to control your computer as well. I use it sometimes to start downloads or power off my computer when I know it won't be in use till I get home

What a great story. My wife is still laughing after I told her the story ten minutes ago. I'll tell you what, it is a good thing that my parents didnt have this kind of technology when I was that age. I got caught enough as it was because I didnt delete all the history!
