What I will probably do is put a custom image in there, be it, red, gold or chrome to match my themes and then link Mbk's metamorph transparent one with install directions.

i just tried to load the mm file, but it did not work. I still have a gray/black status bar

frank.. you also need to do the ADW thing where it allows stretchable wallpaper in the settings

this will only work with adw? won't work with launcherpro?

dunno man.. youd have to check teh LP settings to see if theres an option to stretch the wallpaper.

Yay, after finding out about the wallpaper hack I got my transparent bar again! I'll post screenshots just as soon as I fix a bug with the android sdk. =(

ecsnead...I give you kudos for your tenacity...... you were sooooo right, yet a little off, but right on the money...

Xkape or Mbk, I have had time to search the fw and found one that may be what we are looking for.. I can't actually do any modding til later (kids) but if you get a chance, make this .9 xparent....

title_bar_shadow.9.png and see if that removes the line just under where the statusbar would be if not xparent.....
