Over the holidays, Sprint kicked off a new promo on Black Friday that was meant to last a limited time. It looks like the promo has worked so well (according to their statement) that they decided to extend it until February 11th, 2016. The promo offers users a 50% price discount off their current plan when they switch from Verizon, T-Mobile or AT&T to Sprint. The promo also offers up to $650 in paid switching fees per line.

Most of the standard plans from Verizon and AT&T are accepted, from 300MB to 50GB. All Simple Choice plans from T-Mobile are accepted. If you are a MetroPCS or Cricket Wireless customer, you can also use the promotion, but your mobile plan must match a plan available on T-Mobile or AT&T, (which are the parent companies of MetroPCS and Cricket).

Additionally, when you switch you will be charged a $36 activation fee, but that's chump change compared to everything else that is being offered. Obviously, this offer is only useful for folks in areas where Sprint has good coverage.

Sprint CEO Marcelo Claure had this to say about the new promo extension, “The response to 50 percent off has been outstanding. After receiving such positive feedback from customers and hearing from our salespeople about store traffic, I knew we had to extend this exciting promotion.”
