Root permissions CM13

Hi,

So after getting my phone back online and up to date (thanks to everyone here!). I've noticed that the developer root permissions in CM13 don't play nicely with some apps, I've read that this has something to do with dev's moving away from busybox.

Soo, my question is, as it's not that clear what can I do to fix this.. in particular I was using Afwall+ and an Onvif app but the firewall was blocking the Lan ip traffic unless I disabled it and rebooted.

I noticed that Afwall complained about an error installing binaries, so I tried to install Busybox but that wasn't been given root, that's when I found out about the whole busybox thing.

Is there something special that can be done to fix this?

Thanks!
