"FEATURES" (TRICKS)
=========================================================
Open up the Browser, and type in "about:debug" (minus the quotes of course)
This will enable debug settings and the Java Console. This wont survive a
restart of the app/phone, so you will have to re-enable it next time.
=========================================================
Goto Settings -> About Phone, and click repeatedly on
Android version and you will see what happens. :-D
=========================================================

Installation:

1: Make a backup! (never hurts, ever)
2: Either wipe everything manually, or flash the ROM directly. SuperWipe is already integrated into the install zip (SuperWipe thread LINK)
3: Flash the ROM
4: Reboot and WAIT....

IF YOU HAVE BOOTUP ISSUES

Flash the JellyBean bootloader from above.
Theres a very high chance that alone will solve your bootup issue!

Recommendations:
When you reboot for the first time after flashing the ROM, it may take anywhere from 30 seconds to 10 minutes to boot up. Dont be alarmed! Just wait patiently. All my testers have been successful in booting this up, even though their bootup times varied quite a bit. Just let it sit.

Also, when you get into the ROM, and get stuff set up, let it SETTLE for a bit. Scripts have to run, and things need to install. It will be choppy at first, but a few minutes of use will smooth is out. After that, even after a reboot, it will be smooth right from boot up!

Here are my thanks, in no particular order:

Also, the ROM has been updated to v1.1. Fixes a few things, and updated a few apps.

I can't seem to get back to the bootloader. I flashed 1.0 and got stuck at the Google screen. If I pull the battery and power back on I'm stuck at the Google screen still.

By the way, I restarted holding the volume keys and power and tried "restart bootloader" and ended up back at the same Android with his belly open. I didn't try "recovery" because I'm not sure that I'm there yet.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

EDIT: I've downloaded the bootloader to my PC and I'm pulling down 1.1 right now.

I sorted out how to get back in to my bootloader. I flashed the Jelly Bean bootloader but it didn't replace my existing bootloader (Clockwork Mod Touch 5.8.0.2). I must admit, I'm not sure it's supposed to replace it though. I wiped data/factory reset, wiped cache and dahlvic, then flashed JB bootloader, then flashed JB 1.1. When I restarted after that sequence I'm still stuck at "Google" screen, I never get far enough to have to boot loop. I'm going to try one more time, flashing that SuperWipe script and try again. Then I'll have to call it a night and hope for some help. :)

Just so you know, when you flash my JB ROMs, they already have the SuperWipe script built-in. No need to flash it separately. Just a convenience thing. dancedroid

I thought I noticed those processes running during the flash. Thanks for the clarification. I am puzzled over being stuck at Google when I reboot, after I flash this rom. I've let it sit for twelve minutes before pulling the battery.

Any thoughts there?

To be honest, I really have no idea. Im trying to find a combination that works for all my testers, and havnet had 100% luck yet. Working on JUST the WIFI issue today. I want to get that thing solved completely.

I am having the same problem. It seems to see the signals, but when trying to connect it always gets stuck "Obtaining IP Address" until it gives up. And I was trying sitting 10 feet from the router, so I don't think it's a weak signal.

Yeah, I was having the same issue. Kept trying to get an IP address. I had to install something else until it's resolved, unfortunately.

No worries Chevy. I'm running another JB ROM for now. Once the WiFi thing is resolved we can work on sorting the SteelDroid version being stuck on Google.
