Instructions...

Backing up...
Google saves your contacts, programs, settings, and bookmarks on the cloud.
You can double-back up program with Titanium backup, which will also backup application settings
You can back up text messages with a market app called "SMS Backup & Restore".

File is in the UPDATE.ZIP format.

Clockworkmod
Place the file you downloaded anywhere on the SD Card. Easiest place would be the root directory.
Chose "Install zip from sdcard" from the main menu
Select "Chose zip from sdcard"
Browse to the file (SG11-update.zip) and select it. Confirm the install, let it do it's magic.
Reboot.

SPRecovery
Rename the file you downloaded to update.zip and place it in the root of the SD Card.
Select Install from the main menu
Select Allow update.zip Installation
Select Install /sdcard/update.zip (deprecated)
Reboot.

Wow, first one to post. No screenshots? Downloading now, will post results tomorrow. Should also move this to the "Custom Roms" section. What about themes or anything?

First time I tried the link it failed on me. You should try using Multiupload.com instead. Gives multiple links.

I just tried it, it's stock gingerbread with themed icons, I quickly went back to ss 5.3. No rotary lockscreen or galaxy s pull down widget. The icons did look nice though.

That's just what I call the ROM's not done by some of the better known devs. This ROM and one called Rubik were both Vanilla but they are just stable and fast. The bells and whistles are nice but sometimes it's just nice to have stable and forget about it when you don't have time to tweak.

Plus....dan didn't take donations. He requested that if you wanted to donate to a worthy cause. Hence the name "Charity" ROM.

New kernel (thanks to ChevyNo1) ROM is faster, smoother, cooler, and battery life is even better!
added fix for bluetooth commands (new audio drivers)
added copy all to context menu
various other bug fixes / improvements
