I recently reverted back from Liberty 1.0. I used a back up of 2.2 that was working fine before I installed the ROM. Now, however, whenever it boots instead of having the Motorola animation it has the Liberty one, but then after that flashes it shows the Droid logo and the Droid X eye. I was just wondering if this will eventually effect my OTA to Gingerbread and if it does, is there any way to fix it?

Easiest way is to find the Stock Motorola Boot Animation in a .zip file and flash it via CWM...shouldnt be too hard, as I know it is posted in one of the Droid X sub-forums...
