Returning to stock, need help!

Ok, here's the deal. Im on Rubix 1.9.0 right now and im trying to take it back to stock in order to do the OTA update to 2.3.340; however, whenever i try to use RDS lite, the start button is blanked out and will not continue. Any help would be greatly appreciated, i feel like i've tried just about everything.

have you tried all the troubleshooting included in my tutorial? (running as administrator, using a different version of rsd_lite, etc. etc.)?

yes, i was able to right click and run as administrator and it didnt help. i also tried a few different versions of RSD lite with the same result

If you have a stock backup you don't need to SBF to get update.

i noticed that you said somewhere that Win 7 64b gave you a lot of problems, which is what i have. So im trying to do it on my laptop which has ubuntu so i'll see if this works.

EDIT: Ok, i did the sbf install using ubuntu and it worked. I got stuck in a boot loop, but i did a factory reset and then it worked fine. many thanks for the help!
