quick question about 2.1 update.

I tried searching for this, but the board is flooded with stuff about 2.1 and I couldn't find what I needed.
I just got my ota notification to update to 2.1, but I am currently rooted, running bb8 on 2.01. I want the 2.1 update, but do I need to go back to stock before clicking the update? I'm aware that I will lose root, I just want 2.1installed.
