Hi,
I can't seem to find a definitive answer about this. I have a Droid (the actual Motorola Droid) running 2.0.1, rooted, with the SPS bootloader. I'd like to update it to 2.1 and keep root.
I've found a number of HowTo's that talk about going back to stock 2.0.1, losing root in 2.1, backing up & restoring apps, etc.
Can anyone post a link to a tutorial for just updating a rooted 2.0.1 Droid to rooted 2.1, not losing apps or settings or anything?
Thanks,
Jason
