Question concerning switching backups

I flashed a ICS Rom from Theory and I want to reinstall an backup. Is there anything special that I need to be aware of?

Just wipe data/cache/dalvik
Then restore backup

If you are on safestrap, make sure the backup was made in safe trap. If not, make sure you disable safe strap and bootstrap the other recovery first.
Good luck. Restore has not worked for me and I have to use the fastboot files.
