I am getting a new Droid sent to me today. I have been having audio issues that I can't put up with anymore. I have rooted my phone. Do I have to reset my phone to stock before I send back? Any info would help and thanks in advance!

If the sound is the only issue and the phone functions fine otherwise I would say yes, definitely restore it back to stock! Rooting your phone voids the warranty and I would think they could deny you a replacement stating that rooting the phone caused the problem.

yes rooting and overclocking..which most roms do (if you're running run) will void your warranty..
